SiteSupra Website Builder
The explosion of free and freemium web applications like Vimeo, Flickr, SoundCloud, Dribble and others in recent times has resulted in various ways to promote yourself. Many creative individuals have been enabled to capture and share their ideas and talents instantly, be it a song, drawing, handcrafted toy, presentation or business plan. Given that you’re reading this post, it’s safe to assume that you also use these apps, and there’s a good chance that you have a scattered online portfolio that you might want to integrate into a neat website.
Today we bring you a review of SiteSupra, an easy-to-use site builder for creating simple personal and corporate websites quickly and efficiently. Join us testing its capabilities 🙂 .
Ease of Use: The sign up portion of an app or service, as well as its overall ease-of-use always indicate the quality of the tool itself, and SiteSupra gets is right. Registration is painless and doesn’t require entering your billing details. Once your account is created, you’re directed to the admin panel of your website which is quite intuitive and easy-to-navigate. What I like most about their editor is that it offers a handy visual presentation of your website (see screenshot). With SiteSupra you’ll be doing a lot of WYSIWYG editing, drag-and-dropping, pointing and clicking. No coding required.
Flexibility: SiteSupra is created with small and medium business owners and independent professionals in mind who want to put up a simple website that will bridge the gap between their services and audience. A typical SiteSupra-driven website consists of 5-7 sections, specifically the Homepage, About, Blog, Shop, Contacts etc. SiteSupra offers a simple native shopping cart that can be managed through the admin panel.
Custom domain: Free projects are being published on a subdomain (https://sitename.site.sitesupra.com). Similar to other site builders, custom domains can be attached to paid accounts only.
SEO: Each page has its own SEO pack that consists of the standard boxes: title, keywords and description. Besides, you can configure the priority of each URL relative to other URLs on the site. You can also specify your Google Analytics tracking code.
Designs: SiteSupra offers a collection of modern templates including designs featuring parallax scrolling effects. Each template is customizable: users can change fonts, backgrounds, color patches, link color, buttons etc. Unfortunately, there’s no way to make changes in the site’s source code.
Technical support: Though the platform is very easy-to-use, there’s a collection of how-to-guides and inline help icons in the editor itself. You can also contact one of their experts over email as well as suggest a feature.
Pricing: There’s a free trial version and two paid plans: Standard and Business (see screenshot). As usual, the more you pay, the more you get.
Possible Drawbacks: SiteSupra offers enough tools to customize their default templates, but it doesn’t let users tweak HTML and CSS. Therefore, it can fall short of your expectations if you know a thing or two about coding.
The strongest side: Ease-of-use. SiteSupra’s interface is very clear and can be used by completely HTML-illiterate people. All SiteSupra sites are responsive.
Many small business owners don’t see the need to have their sites designed from scratch by the best agency in the market. They just want to get a professional-looking corporate website. This is exactly what SiteSupra site builder does – it empowers non-tech-savvy people to create and publish professional-looking websites easily.
